European Commission consults on Lifts Directive

13/11/24 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 7 November, the European Commission launched a call for evidence on the relevance of the 2014 Lifts Directive. It would like to know whether the current text requires revision, which it could propose in the second quarter of 2025. The scope of the text covers the development, maintenance, distribution, installation and use of lifts. The call for contributions is open until 13 February 2025.
