Some forty organisations are calling on France to take a firm stance against EU/Mercosur trade agreement

13/11/2024 (Agence Europe) – In an open letter to the French president, Emmanuel Macron, and his prime minister, Michel Barnier, some forty civil society organisations call on France to reject the EU/Mercosur trade agreement outright. The associations, including Friends of the Earth, Confédération Paysanne and Greenpeace France, ask the French government to clarify its position on the agreement.
