European Commission to reintroduce tariff quotas on Ukrainian eggs

After oats, Ukrainian eggs have now exceeded their tariff-free import quota, two European sources confirmed on Thursday 20 June. The Commission must therefore reintroduce tariff quotas on this product within 14 days of when the quota was exceeded, as required by the regulation on autonomous trade measures towards Ukraine (see EUROPE B13386A1).
