European Commission opens public consultation on implementation of Facility linked to New European Bauhaus

20/06/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 20 June, the Commission announced the opening of a consultation as part of the preparation of the 2025-2027 roadmap for the implementation of the New European Bauhaus Facility (NEB Facility), established under the Horizon Europe 2025-2027 framework programme. The Commission is seeking feedback on the needs on the ground and the innovative ideas necessary to make progress towards the Facility’s objective: the creation and development of innovative solutions to revitalise European neighbourhoods in a sustainable and inclusive way. The Commission stresses that the ‘NEB Facility’ combines two components: a ‘research and innovation’ component, with around €120 million a year in funding through Horizon Europe, and a ‘deployment’ component, supported by investments under various European programmes.
