EU/Israel Association Council should be held under Hungarian Presidency of EU Council

Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Israel Katz, announced on the evening of Monday 17 June that he had agreed with his Hungarian counterpart, Péter Szijjártó, “that Israel will participate in the Association Council under the upcoming Hungarian presidency of the EU – to improve Israel’s status in the EU, together with Hungary and other friendly countries within the EU”.
