Magali Gay-Berthomieu and Silvia Brunello denounce lack of a targeted legal response to obstetric and gynaecological violence

A “systemic” scourge, “institutionalised gender violence” reflecting “habits rooted in systems and societies”. These were the strong words used by Magali Gay-Berthomieu before the European Parliament's Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality on Thursday 18 April, when she spoke about obstetric and gynaecological violence in the European Union.
