09/04/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 9 April, the European Commission announced that it had approved, under the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework, a €20 million Slovakian aid scheme to support certain agricultural companies facing increased costs as a result of the crisis generated by Russia’s military aggression in Ukraine. Eligible companies are active in the primary production of agricultural products or in the fishery and aquaculture sector. They will be eligible for direct grants of up to €280,000 per company active in the primary production of agricultural products. For the fishery and aquaculture sector, aid will not exceed €335,000 per company. The aid must be granted no later than 30 June 2024. (EV)
