Josep Borrell announces four senior appointments at EEAS

29/11/23 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 27 November, EU High Representative Josep Borrell announced four senior appointments within the European External Action Service (EEAS). On 1 November, Niclas Kvarnström from Sweden took up the position of Managing Director for Asia and the Pacific. Dutchwoman Stella Ronner-Grubačić also became Deputy Managing Director for Values and Multilateral Relations on 1 November. Rosamaria Gili took up the position of Deputy Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa on 16 October. Silvio Gonzato will also become EU ambassador to Albania on 1 December. (CG)
