The European Commission announced, on Tuesday 28 November, that it had authorised, under the State aid Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework, (see EUROPE 13138/1), a Spanish scheme worth €1.1 billion to support companies producing equipment necessary to foster the transition towards a net-zero economy.
This equipment consists of batteries, solar panels, wind turbines, heat pumps, electrolysers or even components that are direct inputs for the production of this equipment or critical raw materials needed for their production.
The aid will be granted to beneficiary companies in the form of direct subsidies by 31 December 2025 at the latest. (Original version in French by Émilie Vanderhulst)
