29/11/23 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 29 November, the European Commission launched the €145 million call for proposals for 2024 under the ‘European Solidarity Corps’ programme. This programme promotes the mobility of young people between the ages of 18 and 30 from EU countries, candidate countries and associated third countries through voluntary projects with a civic, social and/or environmental vocation, such as welcoming refugees who have fled the war provoked by Russia in Ukraine. The EU institution states that grants will be adjusted to take into account the impact of inflation, as is the case for grants under the Erasmus+ programme (see other news). Young people wishing to participate in the ‘European Solidarity Corps’ must register online on the programme portal. More info: https://aeur.eu/f/4a6 (MB)
