06/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 5 October, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, condemned the aerial attack on a café and a grocery shop in the town of Hroza, in Kupiansk, in the Kharkiv oblast, which killed at least 50 people and injured many others. “Russia’s appalling terror against Ukraine’s civilian population shows no signs of abating and reached another grim landmark today”, stressed Mr Borrell in a statement, describing the attack as abhorrent. “Russia’s leadership, all commanders, perpetrators and accomplices of these atrocities will be held to account. There will be no impunity for war crimes”, he added. The day after this attack, a Russian bombardment of residential buildings in Kharkiv reportedly left at least one person dead and around twenty injured. (CG)
