European Commission assesses EU’s security of gas supply framework and emergency measures taken during crisis

A new report from the European Commission published on Thursday 5 October shows that the EU’s security of supply has improved in recent years thanks to measures taken by the EU in terms of diversification and savings, in line with the objectives of the REPowerEU strategy, which has also helped to reduce gas imports from Russia.
