06/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 6 October, the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) announced the arrival of a new direct member company: Antonov, Ukraine’s largest aircraft manufacturing and services company. This new membership took effect on 3 October 2023, ASD said in a press release, adding that it now has 23 direct member companies and 23 member associations from 19 European countries. “Through its membership of ASD, Antonov will have the opportunity to contribute to the work of the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Associations (ICCAIA), which supports the International Civil Aviation Organization in developing international standards and regulations crucial to the safety and security of air transport”, the statement said.
