Council gives green light for negotiations with New Delhi on a memorandum of understanding on semiconductors

14/07/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 14 July, the Member States’ representatives to the EU gave the green light for negotiations on a draft memorandum of understanding with India on semiconductors. This was announced at the first meeting of the EU/India Trade and Technology Council (TTC) (see EUROPE 13183/22). This memorandum of understanding should serve to coordinate the respective policies in this sector. (LM)
