EU to observe Guatemalan legislative elections

02/05/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 28 April, the European External Action Service announced that the European Union will send a mission to observe the legislative elections in Guatemala on 25 June and 20 August. Led by Jordi Cañas (Renew Europe, Spanish), the mission will consist of 12 experts who will arrive in Guatemala City in mid-May, 40 long-term and 44 short-term observers, as well as locally recruited observers.
