EU ministers to discuss access to medicines on Friday 5 May in Stockholm

The informal meeting of EU health ministers in Stockholm on Friday 5 May, chaired by Swedish minister Acko Ankarberg Johansson, will focus on the issue of access to medicines.

The programme of the Swedish Presidency of the EU Council will focus on medicine shortages and crisis preparedness. 

Ministers will be able to react to the proposed ‘medicines package’ (see EUROPE B13170A2).
