Brussels, 02/05/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission launched the European Diversity Month on Friday 28 April. To mark the launch, the institution awarded prizes to nine cities and regions in seven Member States for their practices in the field of inclusion of all groups of citizens. Celebrated annually since 2020, Diversity Month aims to raise awareness of the importance of inclusion both in the workplace and in society as a whole, while celebrating the efforts of organisations in this area. The theme of the 2023 edition is “Measuring Diversity” and aims to encourage all sectors to measure diversity within their organisations.
