State-building and democratisation, operational priorities of EU-Somalia partnership

On Tuesday 2 May, the Federal Government of Somalia and the European Union launched a joint operational roadmap setting out their cooperation priorities for the next 24 months, namely support to state-building and democratisation in Somalia.

This roadmap is the result of numerous technical and high-level exchanges between Mogadishu and Brussels over the past months, including the bilateral political dialogue held on 6 March.
