EIT ‘Health’ will establish synergies with Innovative Health Initiative Joint Undertaking

26/04/2023 (Agence Europe) – The Health component of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) announced on Wednesday 26 April that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Innovative Health Initiative Joint Undertaking to strengthen their collaboration. This Joint Undertaking is a public-private partnership between the European Union and European life sciences industries. These industries include pharmaceuticals, medical technology, biotechnology, digital health and vaccines. The company is funded by Horizon Europe and aims to enhance the benefits of health research and innovation for patients. The aim of the collaboration between the two organisations is, among other things, to communicate more effectively and create synergies between the EIT’s acceleration programmes and the further development of the results of the projects supported by the Joint Undertaking.
