07/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – Another EU Humanitarian Air Bridge flight arrived in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Thursday, 7 July, delivering 36 tonnes of essential cargo in order to address the humanitarian crisis in the country and support victims of the 22 June earthquake. The cargo consists of sanitation supplies, equipment for safe drinking water, and medical equipment, such as medicine and relief items. According to the European Commission, this aid will enable the EU’s humanitarian partners—UNICEF, the World Health Organization, and Médecins Sans Frontières—to continue to provide vital aid and healthcare services to Afghans in need.
