Renew Europe Group in European Parliament presents its ideas on food security during times of war in Ukraine

The working group of the Renew Europe political group in the European Parliament, which was set up at the end of April, published as announced (see EUROPE B12986A24) its ideas on how to ensure food security in times of war in Ukraine on Thursday 7 July.

Heading the working group, Dacian Cioloș (Renew Europe, Romania) called on the EU to “rethink the link between sustainability and food production” in the ‘Farm to Fork’ and ‘biodiversity’ strategies.
