Brussels, 25/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 25 April the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) launched a public consultation on EIOPA’s regular requests to national competent authorities (NCAs) for information on institutions for occupational retirement provision. The objective is to improve the reporting of institutions for occupational retirement provision by focusing on emerging risks and new challenges and issues observed by NCAs and the pension industry since its first implementation in 2018. In the consultation package, EIOPA proposes to amend its current decision by including information on derivatives, high-level data on institutions’ investments in harmonised UCITS funds, cross-border data, details on the NACE code, and alignment of taxonomies. The consultation is open until Monday 18 July 2022. For more information: https://aeur.eu/f/1cq (AD)
