30/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – Using artificial intelligence to link the needs of hospitals to suppliers, offering retailers remote queuing solutions, and providing a platform to connect teachers, parents and children: these three projects are among the winners of the #EUvsVirus hackathon organised by the EU from 24 to 26 April (see EUROPE 12473/6). Out of 2,150 entries submitted to provide support for the period after the coronavirus epidemic,117 projects were chosen. The European Commission will now organise a “Matchathon” from 22 to 25 May to match projects with available funds.
