The European Commission has postponed the presentation of its industrial strategy by one week, to 10 March in Strasbourg instead of 4 March as originally planned.
On the same day, in addition to the Industrial Strategy (the provisional version of which was described in EUROPE Bulletin 12418/2), the SME Strategy, the Report on Single Market Barriers, the Single Market Enforcement Action Plan, the New Circular Economy Action Plan, and the EU Strategy with Africa will be presented.
The Commission has decided to postpone this report due to the excessive number of initiatives to be announced on 4 March, when the Climate Law, the Gender Equality Strategy, and the launch of the second phase of the consultation to introduce a fair minimum wage (see EUROPE 12403/5) are currently on the agenda.
