Justice and Home Affairs Council (and 08/10). *Justice: – Fight against corruption: debate on the need for further action and the EU's role at international level. – Fundamental rights: debate on the challenges in this area in the coming years and adoption of conclusions on the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights, on the Charter’s 10th anniversary. – Anti-terrorism: presentation by Eurojust of its new anti-terrorism judicial register and adoption of conclusions calling for the strengthening of Eurojust's resources. – Report by the Commission: negotiations with the United States on cross-border access to electronic evidence; progress on combating online hate speech; progress in setting up the European Public Prosecutor's Office.

Justice and Home Affairs Council. *Home Affairs: – Right-wing violent extremism and terrorism: analysis of threats and responses, next steps to be taken for information sharing, prevention, awareness raising etc. – New technologies: discussion on security issues related to technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, drones, encryption, 3D printing or biotechnology. – Hybrid threats and internal security: discussion on how to detect, identify and combat these threats in Member States. – Combating sexual abuse of minors: adoption of conclusions. – Migration: state of migration in the EU and progress of work on the problem.

Commission activities. – ECON-EMPL: hearing of the Executive Vice-President-designate for Financial Services, Valdis Dombrovskis (LV). – ITRE-IMCO-ECON: Hearing of the Executive Vice-President-designate for the Digital Economy and Competition, Margrethe Vestager. – ENVI: Hearing with Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice President for the Environment and on the Green Deal. – SEDE: review of Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) in defence matters (34 projects). – REGI: Joint meeting with the Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy and Budget of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities.
