16/09/2019 (Agence Europe) – As announced in our bulletin (see EUROPE 12325/16), on Monday 16 September the EU Council adopted a decision amending the EU Council's common position of 8 December 2008 on the control of exports of military technology and equipment, the revision of the user guide and conclusions on the subject. The EU Council’s conclusions underline the commitment of Member States to strengthen export control and cooperation and to promote convergence in the field of exports of military technology and equipment within the framework of the Common Foreign and Security Policy.
