Member States commit themselves to further convergence on export of military technology and equipment

EU Member States' ambassadors agreed on Wednesday 11 September to strengthen the convergence of their export policies for military technology and equipment.

The proposal for an EU Council Decision amending Common Position 2008/944/CFSP defining common rules governing the control of exports of military technology and equipment on which they have agreed calls for such strengthening, including by identifying measures to that end.
