03/05/2019 (Agence Europe) – Bulgaria is expected to officially launch its application to host the future European Labour Authority (ELA) on Monday 20 May at the Permanent Representation of the Member State in Brussels. The nomination will be presented in the presence of the Bulgarian Deputy Minister for Social Policy, Zornitsa Roussinova, and a representative of the Sofia Municipality. Thus, Bulgaria will join Slovakia (see EUROPE 12215/29) and Cyprus (see EUROPE 12217/29) in the race for headquarters. Decisions between Member States on the designation of the seat will be taken on 13 June at the Employment and Social Policy Council (EPSCO). (PH)
