First measures applied under new methodology concern Chinese organic coated steels

The first trade defence measures based on the new EU trade defence rules (see EUROPE B12036A15) were published on Friday 3 May. 

These anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on certain organically coated Chinese steels and a definitive countervailing duty on these imports. 

The measures on Chinese imports originally introduced in 2013 will now be extended for 5 years. The fees range from 13.7% to 58.3%.
