European Parliament confirms Interinstitutional Agreement on simplification of ‘reporting’ obligations in environmental legislation

The European Parliament confirmed on Tuesday 26 March in Strasbourg, by a very large majority (619 votes in favour, 19 against, 26 abstentions), the provisional interinstitutional agreement reached last December on the draft regulation to harmonise, improve and simplify all ‘reporting’ obligations imposed on Member States by EU environmental legislation.
