26/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Monday, 25 March, the MEPs of the Industry, Energy and Research Committee (ITRE) supported, on the margins of the plenary session in Strasbourg, the provisional agreement reached between the European Parliament and the Council of the EU, amended after the Commission's comments, on the regulation establishing the 2021-2027 Space Programme (see EUROPE 12214/24, 12207/6). The text is expected to be put to a vote at the second plenary session in April, between 15 and 18 April. No date is known at this time, but the Conference of Presidents is expected to discuss this on Thursday, 28 March. A debate on the content of the agreement is planned for the April mini plenary session, which will take place on 3 and 4 April in Brussels, but the chances are reduced, as the agenda is so full, explained one source.
