European Parliament makes its approval of PCA conditional on setting of benchmarks with regard to country's progress

On Tuesday 12 March, the European Parliament asked the EU Council, the European Commission and the EU High Representative to set, “as a matter of urgency, the following short-term benchmarks to measure any sustainable progress made by the Turkmenistan authorities, using the recommendations made by the United Nations, the OSCE and the EBRD as a basis”.
