19/09/2017 (Agence Europe) – On 18 September, the European External Action Service (EEAS) announced that a ministerial meeting of the E3+3 (France, Germany, UK and China, Russia, USA) and Iran would be held in New York on 20 September to discuss implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The meeting is to be chaired by High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and was preceded by a meeting at political directors' level on 19 September, chaired by EEAS Secretary General Helga Schmid. Mogherini told press on 18 September that the agreement was working and that the International Atomic Energy Agency had certified on several occasions that Iran was fulfilling its obligations. (CG)
