José Manuel Barroso says Irish no vote is not against Europe

Brussels, 19/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - In an interview to the Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera, the president of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, admitted that the Irish no vote on the Lisbon Treaty was a “serious problem” but affirmed that “this is not a rejection of Europe, it is not the end of Europe.
