Brussels, 19/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Tuesday 17 June, MEPs adopted, by 619 votes to 21, with 41 abstentions, the report by Agustin Diaz de Mera (EPP-ED, Spain) on the exchange of information from criminal records. Under the terms of the draft framework decision, if a national of a member state is found guilty of a crime in another member state, this latter state must send certain information from his/her criminal record to the state of nationality as quickly as possible....
