MEPs see no major obstacles to conclusion of accession talks in 2009

Brussels, 11/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament shares the European Commission's view that with greater effort from Croatia and continued support from the EU, the EU accession talks with Croatia could be finalised in 2009, enabling Croatia to become the EU's 28th member state in 2010 or 2011.
