11/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - EU External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner will be visiting Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar on 14-16 April to explore options for stepping up dialogue with the Gulf region. Her talks will cover issues like relations between the EU and the Gulf Cooperation Council, the situation in the Middle East and future cooperation between Gulf states and the EU in domains like energy, the environment, research and education.
