Neelie Kroes gives progress report at EP Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee

Brussels, 21/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - Riding on the crest of anti-cartel successes in 2006, EU Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes said she expected 2007 to be another record-breaking year for fines for price-fixing. Addressing a meeting of the European Parliament economic and monetary affairs committee on Tuesday 20 March, she gave a progress report on other competition investigations and answered queries about private court action over competition issues.
