Accession negotiations continue on 29 March

Brussels, 21/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - Subject to Coreper's formal approval of the EU's position on 28 March, accession negotiations with Turkey and Croatia will continue on 29 March at a deputy level. This will be the first meeting with Turkey since suspension of accession negotiations on the 8 chapters last December (EUROPE 9326). Negotiations will open on chapter 20, “industrial and enterprise policy”. On the other hand, work towards opening another chapter (“financial control”),...
