Reasoned opinion against Luxembourg for failure to comply with air transport security legislation

Brussels, 16/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 12 October, the European Commission sent a reasoned opinion to Luxembourg for failure to comply with European air transport security legislation. Regulation 2320/2002 aims to ensure common basic standards on aviation security measures at Community airports in order to prevent acts of unlawful interference against civil aviation.
