EPO welcomes fresh impetus to debate on future of patents system in Europe

Brussels, 16/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - “We can but be pleased with the fresh impetus given to the political debate” on the future European patents policy, said Alain Pompidou, President of the European Patents Office (EPO), in Lisbon, during the annual EPO conference on its on-line services and products for the users of the European patents system.
