Commission calls on European companies to play greater role in standardisation process

Brussels, 16/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Commission used the 2006 World Standards Day, organised by DG Enterprise in Brussels on Monday, to call on European companies to participate more in the standardisation process. Standardisation is an instrument which, the Commission emphasises in a press release, “makes SMEs more competitive”.
