Cyprus and Slovakia take top prizes in children's rights competition

Brussels, 19/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 18 May, Cyprus and Slovakia took the top prizes in their respective categories in the European Commission competition which asked young Europeans to devise a poster on children's rights in the EU. “I have been very impressed by the interest shown in the subject of children's rights by the 2,237 teams which took part in the competition and even more so by their artistic and creative talents,” said Commissioner Franco Frattini at the awards...
