19/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the Employers Group of the European, Economic and Social Committee (EESC) designated Dimitri Dimitriadis as its candidate for the 2006-2008 Presidency of the Committee. Mr Dimitriadis is currently Vice-President of the EESC and Chairman of the Committee's Budget Group. The final vote for the EESC Presidency will take place on 25-26 October at the plenary session.
