ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) informatics

US equity firm KOHLBERG KRAVIS ROBERTS has bought 85% of the FLEXITRONICS software business (2005 turnover 15.9 billion dollars) for 900 million dollars. This unit, which specialises in software for mobile telephones, is based in New Delhi and employs 6100 staff. It expects to reveal sales of 200 million dollars for the year to March. FLEXITRONICS will retain 15% of its former subsidiary.
