GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/competition

19/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of Sociedad Concesionaria Costanera Norte S.A. of Chile by Italian companies Autostrade S.p.A. and SIAS S.p.A. (SIAS), which are active in the management and construction of motorways. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
