Publisher of Asterix cartoons cannot enjoy exclusive right to use of 'ix' suffix

Luxembourg, 02/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Third Chamber of the European Court of First Instance has dismissed the action brought by Les Editions Albert Rene, the publisher of the Asterix cartoons, against the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (Trade Marks and Designs) (OHIM), against OHIM's decision to register the trade market 'Mobilix' for telephonic goods, as requested by Danish mobile phone company Orange.
