Pascal Lamy describes EU's latest farm offer, criticised by the US, G20, G10 and France, as 'serious'

Brussels, 02/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson will be in London on 7 November with his FIPs counterparts, US Trade Secretary Rob Portman, Australian Trade Minister Mark Vaile, Indian Trade Minister Kamal Nath, and Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim, to discuss the EU's latest farm offer in the WTO trade talks (see Europe 9059) and try and breathe new life into the multilateral trade round that is still in deadlock over farming.
