Greens plead in favour of trans-Pyrenees Euro-region

Brussels, 02/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - At the first Franco-Spanish meeting on cross-border cooperation, which was held in Marseille on 19 October between the prime ministers of France, Dominique de Villepin, and Spain, Rodriguez Zapatero, the Greens of France and Catalonia pleaded in favour of a trans-Pyrenees Euro-region and in favour of deepening cross-border relations, according to a press release issued by the Greens/EFA group of the European Parliament.
