Debate with national parliaments on boosting legal and police cooperation in the EU

Brussels, 17/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - In Brussels on 17 October, in cooperation with the British Presidency, the European Parliament launched a series of debates with members of EU Member States' parliaments (six MPs per country) on improving legal and police cooperation in Europe. The debates were opened by Commissioner Franco Frattini and home office minister Hazel Blears on behalf of the British Presidency.
